What to Check in an OnlyFans Agency Contract Before You Sign

Nineteen lines to find in the draft before you sign it, each with the answer a creator-friendly contract gives. Print the page, put it next to the document, and tick a box only when the clause says it in writing. This page is orientation only; anything you cannot parse belongs with a lawyer licensed where you live.

The checklist

Money

  • Is the share calculated on gross billings or on the net payout after OnlyFans' 20 percent platform fee?Good answer: net, defined by name in the document, with a worked example.
  • Does anything get billed on top of the share: chatter wages, ad spend, editing, VA hours, a retainer?Good answer: nothing on top, or every extra listed with a number.
  • Is the share recalculated when a fan reverses a purchase or gets a refund?Good answer: yes, the share follows what actually stays in your balance.
  • Which income does the definition of revenue reach: only the managed account, or brand deals, other platforms and any custom site you open later?Good answer: the one account they manage, named in the document.
  • Whose bank account does OnlyFans pay first?Good answer: an account in your legal name that only you can access; the agency invoices its share with a stated due date.

Term and exit

  • Is the term fixed or rolling, and how long is the minimum commitment?Good answer: month to month, or a short term with no penalty for leaving.
  • Does the term renew itself unless you give notice by a certain date?Good answer: no automatic renewal, or a renewal date short enough that a missed week cannot cost you a year.
  • How much notice ends the deal, in what form, and from which day does it run?Good answer: written notice by email, 30 days or less, running from the day you send it.
  • Does leaving cost anything: a flat exit fee, a buyout, or paying through the remaining months?Good answer: nothing to pay on the way out.
  • Does the agency keep a share of fans acquired during the term after you have left (a tail or sunset clause)?Good answer: the share ends on the last day of the term, with no post-termination commission.
  • What happens in the 30 days after notice: who removes access on which day, who answers DMs, what gets handed back?Good answer: a dated sequence, with your files, fan notes and message history returned in a format you can open.

Scope of the deal

  • How wide is the exclusivity: the managed account only, or every adult platform and every alias you might use?Good answer: limited to the account they manage.
  • Is there a non-compete that stops you signing with another agency or running your own account after you leave?Good answer: none. If one exists, a lawyer where you live reads it before you sign.
  • What may the agency do with your content, and what does the licence say about after the deal ends?Good answer: the licence ends with the contract, and the account, files, social handles and subscriber list are yours in so many words.
  • Where do the password and the second factor sit, and how fast is access removed on request?Good answer: with you, on your device, with every login the team gets listed and access ended within 24 hours of a written request.

The people and the paperwork

  • Who writes in your name, in which hours, and who approves the scripts?Good answer: hours covered and scripts you have seen, plus a line saying the agency answers for its team's conduct on your account.
  • Who runs the account day to day, and does the document point to that person?Good answer: a named manager you met before signing, written somewhere the agreement refers to.
  • How often do you receive numbers, and which ones?Good answer: weekly, in writing, with gross and net, revenue by subscriptions, PPV and tips, and what did not work.
  • Which country's law governs the contract, and where would a dispute be heard?Good answer: a place you can realistically reach, and a lawyer in your country has read that clause.

How Perlage Studios answers these

On the lines this site publishes: the share is calculated on net revenue, meaning what OnlyFans pays out after its own 20 percent, and nothing is billed on top of it. There is no setup fee and no exit fee. The contract runs month to month with no notice period. Password and 2FA stay with the creator, and payouts go to a bank account in the creator's own name.

A monthly target is agreed from the creator's own numbers before the work starts and written into the contract; in a month where it is missed, the share for that month is $0. Reporting is weekly, and a senior manager is the single point of contact. The exact percentage depends on scope and is agreed on the free strategy call; it is not published. The remaining lines are answered in the contract document, where you should read them as you would with any other agency. The full set of facts is on the About page.

Quick answers

Can I print this checklist?

Yes. Use your browser's print function. The print layout drops the navigation, these answers, the related links and the contact box, and puts the checklist with its tick boxes on a single A4 or Letter sheet. Save as PDF in the same dialog gives you a file to keep next to the draft or send to a lawyer.

Is this checklist legal advice?

No. It tells you which lines to find and what a creator-friendly version of each looks like, so you walk into a negotiation or a lawyer's office knowing what to ask. Contract law differs by country and by state. Anything in a draft you do not fully understand belongs in front of a lawyer licensed where you live before you sign.

What if the agency will not put one of these answers in writing?

Treat the refusal as the answer to that line. In our experience every item on the list is something an agency settles in writing for each creator it takes on, so there is no reason to keep it verbal. Ask once more in a message, and if the answer still only exists as a voice note, assume it is not part of the deal. Anything said out loud and absent from the document does not exist once you have signed.

How does Perlage Studios answer this checklist?

On the lines the site publishes: the share is calculated on net revenue after OnlyFans' 20 percent platform fee, with nothing billed on top; no setup fee and no exit fee; month to month with no notice period; password and 2FA stay with the creator; payouts go to a bank account in the creator's own name; a monthly target from the creator's own numbers is written into the contract, and in a month where it is missed the share for that month is $0; weekly reporting; a senior manager as the single point of contact. The exact percentage is agreed on the free strategy call and is not published. The remaining lines are answered in the contract document, as with any agency.

Take the printed sheet into every conversation, ours included. Message us on WhatsApp at +43 664 75080133 (German works too), and a senior manager replies within 12 hours. The first step is a free strategy call of about 30 minutes, where the split gets named for your account and every line on this list can be asked out loud.
