OnlyFans agency check: 10 questions before you sign

Answer 10 questions with yes, no or don't know, about the agency offer in front of you or the contract you are in now. Nothing you tick here leaves your browser, and nothing is saved. At the end you see which points are red flags and what to ask the agency.

Questions 2 to 5 are knock-outs: one "no" there is reason enough to stop. If you are not sure where to look, open "How to check" under the question.

For each statement: is it true for the offer or contract you are checking?

1The company name in the contract matches a registered company you can look up.
How to check

Search the legal name in the business registry of the state or country the agency gives (in Florida, that is Sunbiz) and compare it with the name on the contract.

If you don't know, ask: What is the exact legal name of the company that signs the contract, and in which registry can I look it up?

2There is no upfront, setup or onboarding fee. Knock-out
How to check

Ask in writing whether any fee is due before your first payout, or on top of the share.

If you don't know, ask: Is there any fee before my first payout, such as a setup, onboarding or deposit fee? Can you confirm that in writing?

3There is no exit fee, and no minimum term longer than three months. Knock-out
How to check

Read the termination clause first: minimum term, notice period, exit fee, buyout.

If you don't know, ask: Is there a minimum term, a notice period or any fee when I leave? Can you send me the termination clause?

4Payouts go to your own bank account first. Knock-out
How to check

Check the payout details in your OnlyFans settings, and ask how the agency bills its share.

If you don't know, ask: Do OnlyFans payouts go to my own bank account first, and how do you bill your share after that?

5You keep the account email and the 2FA device, and can change the password at any time. Knock-out
How to check

Ask who holds each of the three. Refuse any request to change the account email or to move the 2FA.

If you don't know, ask: Do I keep the account email, the password and the 2FA the whole time, and will you ever ask me to change any of them?

6The contract says whether the share is calculated on gross or on net.
How to check

Find the definition of revenue in the draft contract, ideally with one month worked through.

If you don't know, ask: Is your share calculated on gross revenue or on net, after OnlyFans' 20%? Can you show me one month worked through?

7The agency showed you dated results (screenshots with month and figure), not just totals.
How to check

Ask for the screenshots and check that the dates and figures match what you were told.

If you don't know, ask: Can you show me dated results, screenshots with the month and the figure, and tell me whether each figure is net or gross?

8You could read the terms before the call.
How to check

Look for published terms on the agency's site, or ask for them in a message before the call.

If you don't know, ask: Can you send me the full terms in writing before we talk: the share, its base, every fee and the exit terms?

9The fee drops when results drop (for example a target clause).
How to check

Work through a weak month on paper and see what you would still owe.

If you don't know, ask: What do I owe you in a month when revenue drops? Is there a fixed fee or retainer, or does your share go down, for example through a target clause?

10The first call was free and ended without paperwork.
How to check

Notice whether a contract, a deposit or a deadline came up before the call ended.

If you don't know, ask: Is the first call free, and can it end without me signing or paying anything?

Not legal advice. This check helps you spot gaps in an offer. It does not replace a lawyer: if a clause is unclear to you, have it checked before you sign.

How Perlage Studios answers these 10

Hold us to the same 10 questions. This is how our offer answers each one, including the one where the answer is only partly.

  1. 1Yes. Perlage Studios Marketing Agency LLC, registered in Florida (Oakland Park). The full company details are on the imprint.
  2. 2Yes. No setup fee, and nothing billed on top of the share: no chatter costs, no ad budget, no retainer.
  3. 3Yes. Month to month, with no minimum term, no notice period and no exit fee.
  4. 4Yes. OnlyFans pays out to your own bank account. Our share is settled separately, after you have seen the full payout.
  5. 5Yes. Your password, your 2FA and the account email stay with you.
  6. 6Yes. The share is calculated on net revenue: what OnlyFans pays out after its own 20%.
  7. 7Yes. Dated results, each with the screenshot it comes from, all net: see all published results at a glance.
  8. 8Partly. The base, the fees and the exit terms are published. The percentage is not: you get it on the free strategy call, before anything is signed.
  9. 9Yes. A target-or-zero clause: before the start, a monthly target based on your own numbers goes into the contract, and in a month the target is missed, our share for that month is $0. It is a payment rule in the contract, not a promise of income.
  10. 10Yes. The first step is a free strategy call of about 30 minutes on video, and it ends without paperwork.

Have an offer in front of you, or want your current contract checked? Send us the key lines and we tell you what they mean for you. The share and its base, the fees, the term and the exit, and how payouts work are usually enough, and you can black out names first. A senior manager replies within 12 hours.
